In 1971 a man called Thomas Schelling developed a concept called “Schelling segregation model“. Basically it is the same thing as my Xenophobia, or I should rather say, Xenophobia is like Shellng’s segregation. Shelling tried to make a segregation model that would picture people of different races (nickles and dimes) moving though neighborhoods (squares) of a town (chess board). In his case, 33% of agents were racists (vs. 100% xenophobics in Xenophobia) and they moved randomly.

I was unaware of the Schelling segregation model at the time I created Xenophobia!
By no meanings this was plagiarism; it was merely my first practical contact with the field of ALife and swarm intelligence.
